Amazing Results in 1 week!! Torch your drama!!

I have to tell you this story. I am floating right now!

I have a client. This client is the most delightful gal but has had a propensity to steer towards co-dependent relationships where she has been undervalued and has not been having much fun at all.

Just a week ago she resigned from some relationship patterns that were exhausting her.

2 times today I was explaining to clients about how when you turn away from drama, you turn your energy towards your creativity and genius. (One of my favorite coaching jobs: steering people clear of drama towards their genius!!!)

This client and I were discussing what she wants now from life and finding herself again. She just called to tell me that tonight (1 hour after we spoke) she was offered a prestigious teaching position in her area of genius!

Can you say WOO freakin' HOO!!!

Consider torching drama.
Your creativity awaits!!!

Purse Upgrade Makeover

Which purse feels more powerful?
Professional?

My recent client, a powerful coach, just made the switch!

Purses are about money.

Purses are usually the 1st thing people notice about you.

Purses are not just about a name, or a designer.

Finding the right purse is about finding your right energetic match.

You don't have to spend a ton, but it needs to be quality (Italian is fabulous!)

Your purse needs to match your body shape, style, height, purse amount and color. I'm a genius at helping you choose your best purses.  I personally think you need about 6 purses for different purposes. Picking purses for my clients is one of my favorite style exercises!!!

I will be creating an information product that tells you exactly how to purchase your purses AurethaStyle!! Stay tuned and make sure you are signed up for my e~Love Letters!

Energetic Advertising: Are you WILLING TO BE SEEN or NOT? Are you IN or OUT??

(Yes, this is a Come to Jesus for business people and most of the rest of you. )

Are you or are you not willing to be "seen"?

Are you open for business or a better relationship?
Do you have a sign?  (i.e. A website?)  A match.com profile?

Are you willing to Share or Sell what you have to offer?

I talked to several business owners this week that weren't sure. Imagine the confusion for their customers! (It's like the facebook relationship status: "It's complicated.")

They are moved into a space, with a small or hidden sign, not wanting to spend money on the big sign, because they are "not quite ready yet." Except they are paying rent.  Some are giving away product. The current marketing plan is to meet a few locals that happen to walk in until they are ready to "go big."

What an expensive way to learn!!!

How comfortable it feels to "settle in and get everything perfect" until several months roll by. It sounds like a good idea. You are tweaking everything and figuring it out. Time passes quickly. Hurdles seem insurmountable. Then, all of a sudden, the costs have added up, it's getting desperate, the momentum is waning and the owners are getting tired, scared or discouraged.  There is no money coming in, only going out. Hmmmm..I wonder why???  People are wondering what's going on..are you OPEN or NOT??

How many times have you seen this or felt this from a business? You were excited to go.....when were they going to open? After awhile people give up their excitement and forget about you because their experience with their excitement is disappointing.

Maybe you want a better relationship but you stay in one you don't love with one foot. People ask~ Are you dating? What is your status? Are you willing to date other people? They are wanting to play match maker. Opportunities are waiting but are you game?
Maybe you're waiting till you lose 10# to have the photos taken before you Match.com.

You may get 9 months to prepare for a baby. When that baby shows up, you're IN. You are committed! You learn as you go, honey. That's how business is, too! No amount of preparation compares with taking clients or customers or going on dates. You learn from them. You learn what and how to offer what you offer.

Suggestion?

Set a date to be ready and open the doors. You're ready enough ~or you will "get ready" as you meet your customers and try it out. No, it won't be perfect. But if you've got a good product, business will build. Your business cards may not be done yet. So what. Website not completed. So what. Your brand and your products will hopefully continue to evolve as you learn more about your genius offerings and your perfect customers. It will happen much quicker once you are all in.

Put out the BIG SIGN! (Make it beautiful!!) Do all the free marketing now! Send the message out with happy people and offer incentives. There is almost no such thing as too much advertising if it's working. You'll know when you find your groove. You can never hand out too many cards or meet too many potential clients/leads in the beginning. Just rake in the interest in your and your business! PLAY BIG and the Universe will return to you big results.

Focus especially on why you love your business or about yourself. What makes you and your product or service AMAZING????! (I'm thinking of Aseneth Horton, with Ellipse Media. The woman has a personality that will knock your socks off!! She shines like the sun. You just want to work with her just to be around her enthusiasm.) That energetic focus keeps you and your customers stunned and satisfied when you are keeping the main thing the main thing.

Set up that Match profile with your best photo and winning smile! Make the connections, take the emails. Put yourself out there, 100%. Sell that house, honey! Get the makeover, take the photos. Show yourself in your best light. Don't show me photos from 10 years ago. Believe me when I tell you that people do not like false advertising on dates. Be the real you that you are now.

You gotta be IN to make the magic happen. The Universe can only support you when you are clear with your intention!

My website still isn't perfect. I'm tweaking my blog, website, offering and message all the time. I've done the do-it-yourself website for years and upgrade it as I can. But it's up. My energetic business card is out there!  I am open for business. And you know it.

Get clear about what you want. Get 100% IN ~whether it's in your relationship, your work, your image or your success in business. Get OPEN for what you want to attract to you!!

Celebrity Client Shoes — Salenta!

I found these AMAZING shoes and when I spotted them in the box at the store, I KNEW they would fit, I knew they would be comfortable and sexy and of course, I was right. I'm a 10 minute shopper when I'm honed into my intuition.

When I wore them, they reminded me of my new, fabulous friend and *Everyday Rockstar* client, Salenta Fox. I thought, "I must name them after her!!"

I'm going to start naming my shoes after my clients. I think of my clients all the time anyway, but this is going to remind me of them every time I wear a shoe.

Here's to every woman being a celebrity!!!

If Jillian Michaels hates her *ass*, should you be listening to her???

Ok, I’ve never loved that word for a donkey & like it even less as a word for my tush. I’ve never particularly liked Jillian and now I know why.

Most people don’t love their derriere. That’s a pretty big part of the body not to love (especially in my case). Knowing that there is much self-loathing over this very big muscle and a very important part of our daily life, I vote we "GET OVER IT.”

I did.

It used to be my favorite thing to obsess over, to try to control. Bumps on your butt or the shape of it are not easy to control~even for Jillian Michaels! I like exercise but I don’t love it or use it as beat-up. I’m not one of those PUSH YOURSELF HARDER people. I do like my new Butt Bible routine. We’ll see how that goes. For now I’m just really really sore.

If you walked behind me, you might think, "Wow, that girl has a big butt."

But here’s the thing. I love me. I love my squooshy tushy. It’s soft. It’s womanly. I don’t look like a super model. I like diversity. Yeah, if it got smaller I wouldn’t be mad or anything. I don’t have it insured.

BUTT...If one of America’s top trainers hates hers, why in the world is anyone listening to her? Simply put, we want someone to tell us it’s ok to hate ourselves. It’s ok to be hyper-critical. To keep pounding away on the treadmill and keep working working at this area that we want to control and change because we don’t love it. What’s easier? What feels better?

JUST LOVE IT. (get it?? not JUST DO IT…)

That doesn’t mean (God forbid!! GASP!!) that you can’t work on your body, or do the Butt Bible...butt are you going to SUFFER until you get what you want? Maybe it’s just me, butt is that STUPID OR WHAT??!!

You wanna suffer, listen to self-haters. You wanna love, listen to me. That’s what I’m all about.

I love you AND your big, flat, bumpy, droopy, tight, bounce a quarter off of, working muscle that is your primary way to WALK & SIT.

LOVE THE DANG THING. IT’S THE ONLY ONE YOU’RE GONNA GIT!!

MUAH!! xoxo

Bikini Waxing for Pansies!

Did you know redheads have 20% less pain tolerance?
I found that out.  So when I get a bikini wax, I take about 7 iboprofen & 2 tequila shots and it STILL hurts.

This lady makes it easier. As painless as possible, and in the business for many years, Julie Giles at The Mane Attraction in Salt Lake ( 3241 East 3300 South) is a consummate professional. I was impressed with her techniques to minimize pain

To prep before waxing, be clean, exfoliate a few days before and do take a least a little ibuprofen to cut down on the swelling afterwards.

Secrets of a Shoe & Boot Repair Genius! Dan at Millcreek Shoe Rebuilders, Salt Lake

I am in awe of my shoe guy. Dan, at Millcreek Shoe Rebuilders, is a true craftsman. I had hoped he would apprentice and now he has two. We had a great conversation today about how his craft will pass away in 20 years if apprenticeship doesn't occur in this country and how there is such a huge need for what he does, at the skill level he has, and how it creates great job security!

When I mentioned that I want to take my clients to Italy to have their boots custom made (along with a tour of Milan, my favorite fashion house Missoni, and the Milan street market on Sundays) he mentioned that there are tiny towns in Italy where all the shoemakers still live. My new quest is to find these tiny hubs of craftsmanship and introduce my clients to a level of quality and luxury that they have never known. "Designer" is the only thing we know of luxury. To me, "designer" is still not personalized. Customization is my favorite and ultimate form of luxury, not someone else's idea of what looks good that you have to buy into every season, depending on their whims!

He's created belts for my clients. He repairs suitcases, shoes, boots..anything leather. He always knows what needs to happen for whatever broken or ailing item you bring him. Today he wowed me by revealing to me that it was so difficult to fix my cork heels because they weren't actually cork, they are a fabric that looks like cork!

Holy Guacamole. I learn a few new things each day.

Take your stuff to Dan. I once noticed that he reminded me of the cranky balcony guys on the Muppets but these days he's recording guitar music and creating art in his off hours. He doesn't have time for any crap. (I like that in a person!!!)
Once I told him I'd love to refer him business and he asked me not to because he was so busy he didn't have time to get his work done! (Pre-apprentices!)

Be prepared to pay in advance and wait up to 2 weeks to pick it up. Take note of his hours, which you'll have to stop by and notice because I can't find them on the web. Take him your favorite backpack, your broken zippers and your worn out heels. He will amaze you. Support your local artists and craftsmen. Enjoy the wisdom, skill & quality of the Old World!
