Top 5 Spring Fashion Trends+ Luscious Living Teleclass!

Top 5 Spring Fashion Trends & A Luscious Living TeleClass!

Luscious Friends~
I'm so thrilled with the fun trends served up for us to enjoy this spring! Here's a video to show you what I'm talking about. ;)
5 Spring Fashion Trends
1) feminine chic~
I was there, am there and will always be there. Fem is never out of style. Women in feminine energy facilitate men in masculine energy and everyone benefits! Women feel empowered through the fullest expression of sensuality, shape and color. Flaunt your hips and curves this season!
2) Colors and color blocking.
Slam those colors up together!! Just make sure they are similar in strength. Just like male and female energy, colors compliment one another and bring out the strength in each other.
3) Retro.
Enjoy. Search through Mom's closet. Find a shape that works with your body style.
4) Prints.
Tribal, hippy. Love it! Bring this to work in your jewelry. Try to wear prints that you feel a connection to. For example, I connect with Celtic scrolly prints, not African prints. Make it yours.
5) Leather.
Leather shorts, blazers and pants in more flowy cuts. If you're on a budget, this would be my trend to skip.

New Healthy Manicures~Shellac & Gelish Review

I've finally found a product I love for my nails to keep them gorgeous for 2 weeks or more. I looked up reviews for an hour and thought you'd like to reap the rewards of that time and knowledge JUST for being a part of my world!!

Please comment on your experience with these products and enjoy!

Who you use as your nail tech makes a HUGE difference. You can apply regular polish until your next visit, just know that if you use Acetone remover, you will remove your shellac/gel base.

See Yourself through the "Glory" Filter!

I recently saw Diane Sawyer on her show while I was at the gym, gloriously haloed by her filtered lens. Since all the TV's were side to side, her image was in stark contrast to the harshly realistic HD cameras used on the other news anchors. (I'm pretty sure Barbara Walters was the first to use the wrinkle-free filter.) I almost felt as if I was tuning into a more beautiful, heavenly world where angels sang as she spoke.

I didn't mind one bit.  I didn't mind being spared a wrinkle or two. She looked gorgeous and god~like with perfect makeup, hair and clothing after years of experience figuring out what works best for her. She looked feminine and smart.
Diane is the perfect icon of the mature woman. I was still able to see her essence through her "glory" filter.

My point is: Why not see ourselves through a "Glory" filter? What would it be like to look through a lens that makes us look and feel good about ourselves rather than seeing ourselves through a harsh filter that magnifies our every "flaw"?

Would you be willing to see yourself in the best light?

Literally, would you be willing to have a mirror and lighting that makes you look and feel good rather than heavy, wrinkled, bumpy & bruised?

So what if your mirror makes you look 10# thinner & taller? I'd be curious to see if you lost weight after seeing yourself in this mirror for awhile. One of my perfect clients has a mirror like this and I think it's a good experiment. Try feeling better about you for a little while every day, using any tool in the book!  Use peach lighting that goes vertically down the wall, so you are not lit from above but evenly illuminated.

Stand up a little taller. Suck in your stomach. (You might find yourself wanting to do an extra plank or two!)  Feeling better creates being better. Being better creates doing better...it steers us into the current in the river where we are headed in the right direction.

Let's stop with the "Be Hard on Ourselves and Others" crap. It doesn't work. It doesn't change a thing except making it worse. Create what you want from a place of imagining yourself as you would love to be! Use your imagination as much as you can every single day. Try it out and report your results right here!

5 Elements of a Great Coat

There is so much to say about a great coat that I'm going to narrow it down and be brief, since I've never had a busier season and I'm guessing you might be busy, too!

5 Elements of a Great Coat

1) A coat that does not attract lint or pet/people hair & is easy to clean.
Just like your hair, makeup, bag & shoes, your coat needs to look impeccable. Impeccability sends a very strong statement that you care enough to get the details right. If you've got little kids, animals or are a slob, make sure you get something easy to clean or that has a slick outer layer. Dark colors show hair the worst!
If you're covered in fur anyway (you know who you are), consider a vintage fur coat from our local Unhinged in Sugarhouse. (I'm not a fan of killing animals unless it's necessary.) You may occasionally see me in vintage fur or fake fur. Great looking fake fur is everywhere! It's soft, lightweight and warm.
Check your coat in sunlight every week! Take a damp washcloth and see if you can lightly wash stains or spots out. If not, act fast to clean before stains set and do not subject to dryer heat until you get spots out. Take special care to look at the ends of your sleeves.
2) A coat that is warm.
If you're going to do down, make sure the lines go up and down instead of across. I don't like seeing the Michelin Man everywhere I go.
3) A coat that has great lines & a great style.
My personal favorite is a knee length coat. It's elegant for men and women, keeps your butt & lower back warm, and is eternally stylish over dresses and slacks. Make sure it fits but it's not too big.
Have a second coat (can be shorter length) that's daily for trips to Costco. It's a little easier to get in and out of your car and keeps your longer, dressy coat clean for nicer occasions. I see most people err by wearing their daily short coat when they should have a dressier coat for business.
4) A coat that is comfortable & easy to move in!
If you've ever tried on vintage wool coats, it's shocking how heavy they are! Thank God for microfibers (easier to clean & they don't attract moths.) Save purchasing wool for your sweaters with a silk next to your body to save your sweaters from washing every time you wear them.
I have safely concerns around coats. You need to make certain that you can drive easily!! Try on a coat and pretend you are driving with your arms around your steering wheel. See if you can touch your elbows with a little give in your coat. Stretch is a wonderful thing. I've been known to have a panic attack in a too~tight coat!
5) A coat needs to have some color or ShaZZam! quality.
Nothing is more boring than the sea of black coats at Sundance. Not only are they very dangerous because they are invisible at night, they are BOORRINGGG and steal the color from your face. If you have one, and I know you do, if you don't love it, donate it! If you love it, get the best colorful scarves that look great next to your face and bright gloves (which you can see when they fall out of your car).
You deserve a Rock Star coat! If you let me help you pick it out I can help you save lots of money & time by teaching you how to make the best investment for your body shape and lifestyle. A good coat is a best friend in winter and when taken care of properly, can last a very long time.
Happy Winter, my friends!!

How to have WHAM BAM Thank You MA'AM Breakthrough Results!

Hey Lovies!
I've had some WHAM-BAM-THANK YOU MA'AM big wins lately. I want to share the process I've taken in hopes that it will inspire and guide you to more success and breakthroughs.
1)Say YES to "Woo-Woo": Emotional/Spiritual/Mental/Physical Healing techniques
I demand a solution for what's not working in my life. I ask, seek and knock on every door for solutions for myself and my clients. Because of my relentless desire to learn and grow and heal, I continue to find better, faster, and more effective tools for leaving the past behind and clearing old energies to make way for new vision. I use these tools religiously/daily and that is a huge reason I was prepared for my latest "upgrade!" (Did you read that last week?) I'm using these tools now in my coaching/healing sessions, if you want to get "in" on that!
2) Follow your Inspired "Leadings" or "Hunches": Say yes to the yeses and no to your no's! ( I teach techniques to help you learn how to do that, too!)
Within the last 2 months I followed inspiration to a few meetings where I met 5 people who circled around me in the same week to give me the support I need to launch my new, bigger, bolder brand of Auretha.com. I had to say NO to some things that were politically correct to say Yes to, at the risk of hurting feelings and business relationships. I had to honor a deep NO within myself. When I made these choices, other offers opened up IMMEDIATELY that I felt inspired to take. Sometimes it takes OVARIES/COHONES to do the thing that is right for you to do!
3) I knew what was holding me back was that I did not have the right support team in place.
I'm a giver. I've given more hours of my time and expertise than I can count, just like you have, because giving feels good.
Let me tell you what also feels good...receiving! Somehow all the stars were aligned from the above actions, so the Universe was able to deliver my support team! Ted is a Wordpress Wonder & SEO stealth secret operative. Elisabeth is a VA (virtual assistant) who loves to play with words, develop products and has a sky-high perspective. She has the best overview of my business because it's her genius and because she cares. You cannot buy that kind of support. Also in the bunch are a few whiz kids on creating beautiful websites, facebook & filing. Seriously. It takes a village to create what I'm up to. I literally want to change the world. This team gives me permission to dream higher and farther and gives relief to the endless supply of mind-numbing questions an entrepreneur faces.
Because of this team, I will now be able to develop products and solutions for people all over the world rather than having to meet one-on-one with me. That's global, honey. I was made to play globally!!
So I asked and kept on asking. I supported others (and still do). I followed inspiration. I said NO. I said YES! I received! (BIG relief!) Now I have come into meeting some of the most amazing women I've ever met that are insistent on becoming my clients in order to play as big as they can in their own lives. I can play full out with all my giftings because they "get it." (They get that intuitive healing is as important as having a RockStar wardrobe to meet your dreams!)
The icing on the cake on top of the icing on the cake? I've lost about 8 lbs and am fitting into a whole new wardrobe of fun clothes. I'm preparing (inside & outside myself) for TV and to be seen on the world stage. I don't know WHEN or HOW but I know the WHAT: Helping people feel and look better in the bodies they have right now.
There's an upgrade that I've been preparing for, and it's here. I am doing the process that I help my clients achieve. It feels great!
ONward & Higher to you, my friends!
As always, please share your comments & questions on my blog.
Maybe the support you need is a coach (or a stylist) or a gardener...what are you waiting for?
Start asking and when the perfect person shows up..

Upgrades: Tips for making life & style easier & better~Chime in!!

Everything can usually be better, easier or faster.  Every season I ask myself; Is there something I can wear that will be easier, more comfortable, look better, work better and be more “my style?”  Usually I find something better than what I know existed before!  You want to think; “If I had an hour to pack & get to the airport, what would I throw in my bag?”

High maintenance or uncomfortable items do not make the cut.

This same principle can be true for your social network feed, your cell phone apps, your moisturizer, your car, a workout, a meal, a recipe or a roommate! I love when Gay Hendricks discusses his concept of an “Upper Limit” because I find most people settle for what works and then stop looking for something better.  (That’s why so many of my clients start with a wardrobe of clothes that are 10-15 years old. At some point, they stopped in their tracks. They stopped adapting, adjusting & growing!)

Another question: How can this be easier? I find the ego sometimes trips over this one. Do we need it to be hard? Scary? Do we need to be uncomfortable? Example: If you are a girl with lots & lots of beautiful hippage, do you really need to wear jeans? (Skirts and dresses are LIFE changing!!)  If you have teensie boobies, do you really need a bra? (Maybe pasties will work better in some situations) If you’re a guy, do you need to keep the long, stringy hair? Or the buzz cut? Did you stop growing or expressing yourself a year ago? (5 years ago?) I loved seeing a guy friend with a Mohawk. It fit him perfectly at that moment in his life. It was refreshing and truthful.

I have a passion in helping people find better solutions! Here’s a great one. www.rareearthtones.org has ringtones of endangered animals. An elephant calling from Brett’s pocket is pretty funny, but opens a conscious conversation about his mission to save the animals of this planet.

I’d love for you to comment & share on my blog what are the best UPGRADES you have found?

What makes your life easier? Better?

Another great tip from (Skin) Dr. Murad: he snacks on organic goji berries & pine nuts. The guy looks radiant! It really is all about nutrition & attitude.

More power to you, people. Let’s evolve.
